Moody’s changes MAHB outlook to negative

The international ratings agency said the change in outlook was because of the heightened operating challenges for MAHB

PETALING JAYA: Moody’s Investors Service has affirmed the A3 issuer rating of Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) and changed its outlook to negative from stable due to the impact from its Turkey airport operations.

The international ratings agency said the change in outlook was because of the heightened operating challenges for MAHB’s unit, Sabiha Gokcen International Airport (SGIA, unrated). SGIA owns and operates the second largest airport in Istanbul, Turkey.
