PETALING JAYA: Perusahaan Otomobil Kedua Sdn Bhd (Perodua) is “cautiously positive” about the sales outlook for the remainder of the year, as it is counting on the newly launched energy-efficient sedan, Bezza, to spur sales following a tough first half.
Sales in the first half of 2016 dropped 10% to 97,400 units from 108,502 units a year earlier, due to the poorer economic condition and weaker consumer sentiment, said president and chief executive officer Datuk Aminar Rashid Salleh.
