Mild correction in cautious mood

REVIEW: Bursa Malaysia kicked off the week on an easier note, with the leading indicator, the FBM KLCI, shedding 3.48 points to 1,664.92 in a knee-jerk reaction to an attack in France over the weekend, where at least 84 people died.

However, the negative sentiment turned positive shortly after that, as buyers emerged from the sidelines to seek bargains, taking comfort from a steadier Wall Street, which saw the Dow Jones Industrial Average ending at a record high the previous Friday on upbeat economic data and growing confidence at the start of the reporting season.
