Nord contract lifts Wah Seong 4%


PETALING JAYA: Shares of Wah Seong Corp Bhd jumped as high as 4% to hit an intra-day high of 72 sen yesterday following news that it had secured a pipe-coating and storing contract from Switzerland-based Nord Stream 2 AG.

The oil and gas service provider ended the day at 70 sen (up 2.5 sen). Trading in the company’s shares was suspended between 9am and 10am yesterday pending the contract announcement.
