KUALA LUMPUR: JF Apex Research expects Bertam Alliance, Halex and TH Heavy Engineering to be among the stocks to watch on Friday.

Overnight on Wall Street, US stocks slipped as a crude oil selloff dragged energy shares lower, while investors remained on edge before a monthly report that may reveal whether the labour market is maintaining momentum amid a gloomy outlook for global growth.
Oil held near US$45 a barrel after tumbling to the lowest level in almost two months as U.S. crude stockpiles fell less than expected.
The S&P 500 Index slipped 0.1% to 2,097.90 while the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.1% to 17,895.88.
On Tuesday, the FBM KLCI lost 4.13 points to end at 1,650.71.
“Following the mixed performance in global markets, the KLCI is expected to remain sideways below the resistance of 1,665 in view of the low trading volume during this festive season,” it said.
