MISIF: Gas price hike will cost industry RM100mil more annually


Malaysian Iron and Steel Industry Federation (Misif) president Datuk Soh Thian Lai urges the government to consider the move to raise toll charges next year as the minimum wage policy, extension of the retirement age, increase in electricity tariffs and fuel prices are already having adverse impact on the cost of doing business.

KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Iron and Steel Industry Federation (MISIF) has called on the Government to adopt a moratorium of any further increase in natural gas price for at least two years.
