Gas tariffs to go up


Gas Malaysia said there would be no change to the selling price for residential customers, that is classified under category A, at RM19.52/MMBtu

PETALING JAYA: Gas Malaysia Bhd will raise natural gas tariffs for the non-power sector in Peninsular Malaysia by 5.95% from July 15.

The gas supply company said yesterday that the average gas tariff will be revised upwards by RM1.52 per one million British thermal units (MMBtu) or 5.95% from an average price of RM25.53/MMBtu to RM27.05/MMBtu.
