CIMB Research neutral on Genting Plantations expansion in Indonesia


KUALA LUMPUR: CIMB Equities Research is Neutral on Genting Plantations’ expansion in Indonesia where it is buying the rights to develop 21,955 ha of oil palm estates for US$42.2mil from Sepanjang group.

It said on Tuesday the acquisition will raise its plantation land bank by 9.2% and planted estates by 2.4%.
