As at end-February, Tenaga had cash balance of RM2.9bil (net gearing: 0.2 times), it said on Monday as it maintained its Buy call.
“We believe electricity demand will remain strong in 2H given the dry spell in April-May and the peak demand achieved in recent months,” it said, commenting on a news report that Tenaga started the pre-qualification process for contractors to expand the terminal.
