PETALING JAYA: Genting Bhd’s net profit for the first quarter ended March 31 fell to RM130.8mil from RM620.1mil a year ago on lower percentage contribution from premium players at its operations in Malaysia and Singapore.

Earnings were also affected by the lack of one-off gains that had boosted last year’s performance.
