IT is becoming increasingly difficult to predict where interest rates are going in a world gone topsy-turvy with negative interest rates being adopted by major central banks.
In Malaysia, despite some speculation to the contrary, Bank Negara kept the benchmark overnight policy rate (OPR) at 3.25% on Thursday, a rate the central bank has kept since raising it by 25 basis points in July 2014.
