Ekuinas eyes maiden investment in retail sector soon

KUALA LUMPUR: Government-linked private equity fund-management company Ekuiti Nasional Bhd (Ekuinas) is looking to make its maiden investment in the retail sector within the next three months.

“I can only say that the company that we are thinking of investing in is going to be one of the retail market leaders in Malaysia,” said Ekuinas CEO Syed Yasir Arafat Syed Abdul Kadir after presenting the company’s financial year ended Dec 31, 2015 results here yesterday.
