PETALING JAYA: Beer companies may have to adopt a different approach to target further growth in the Malaysian market amid the extremely difficult operating environment surrounding the industry currently.
The new excise duties regime that was announced in March may eventually cause these companies to rethink their strategies to target a lower net alcohol content in their drinks, said industry observers.
