KUALA LUMPUR: Malakoff Corp Bhd has allocated RM900mil as capital expenditure (capex) for its expansion plans this year, of which RM700mil will go into the new 1,000MW Tanjung Bin Energy (T4) power plant.

“Now that we’ve just come online with the T4, we are actively submitting bids for waste power with the energy commission,” said the independent water and power producer’s chairman, Tan Sri Syed Anwar Jamalullail (pic), in a press conference after the company’s AGM, where shareholders voted in favour of all seven resolutions raised.
