MoU may pave way for more waste management projects, says Khalid Bahsoon

PETALING JAYA: The MoU signed between Cenviro Sdn Bhd, a unit of sovereign wealth fund Khazanah Nasional Bhd and DONG Energy, an integrated energy company 59%-owned by the Danish government, to develop an integrated waste-management concept in Malaysia incorporating REnescience technology, could pave the way for more waste management projects in the country.

Cenviro chief executive officer Khalid Bahsoon (pic) said in a statement last Friday that the collaboration “is an opportunity” for the company to develop a sustainable model that could then offer competitive prices to the Government for a waste-treatment facility.
