YTL Corp, RHB Cap lift KLCI as ringgit slumps


The ringgit weakened to 3.9030 to the US dollar from 3.8898 the previous day, it slipped to 5.5301 to the pound sterling from 5.5463; and it was at 2.8714 to the Singapore dollar from 2.8526 and it fell against the euro to 4,3964 from 4.3831.

Box-Pak fell 11 sen to RM2.61, Can-One two sen to RM4.04 and Kian Joo one sen to RM3.14. Kian Joo and Aspire Insight Sdn Bhd called off their business sale agreement and the related agreements which were entered into in March 2014 and this would also mean the cancellation of the proposed distribution of RM3.30 a share by Kian Joo.
