KPJ Healthcare focuses on expanding locally


More beds: KPJ expects to have 3,100 beds by the end of the year.

KUALA LUMPUR: KPJ Healthcare Bhd will fully focus on expanding capacity domestically and is expected to add 200 beds to its stable by the end of the year.

“We now have 2,900 beds and expect to have 3,100 beds by the end of this year. The outlook for 2016 is good as we are looking at positive signs in the past one month,” its president and managing director Datuk Amiruddin Abdul Satar told reporters at the sidelines of the Invest Malaysia 2016.
