Berjaya Corp Bhd’s unit Berjaya Group will cease to be a direct shareholder of Berjaya Auto Bhd (BAuto) under a proposed deal which will see it sell its entire 21.88% equity interest in the Mazda car distributor for up to RM526.26mil to a special purpose vehicle controlled by “certain key management” members of BAuto. Bursa Malaysia has given Nexgram Holdings Bhd seven questions to answer within one market day with regards to its proposed disposal of 69.6% in mobile application services firm Godynamic Investments Ltd (GIL). The board replied to two questions. The yet-unanswered questions include on the breakdown of the utilisation of proceeds and on the discrepancies between two public announcements in relation to GIL’s financial year end and revenue.
