Yong Tai appoints Boo as CEO



KUALA LUMPUR: Yong Tai Bhd has appointed Boo Kuang Loon as  chief executive office (CEO) with immediate effect to strengthen its core business in property development. 

It said on Tuesday Boo was an executive director since Oct 7 , 2015. He has 20 years of working experience in property development, project management and construction management. 

“He was instrumental in Yong Tai’s successful acquisition of two prime lands in Melaka for two projects namely the Impression City and Impression Melaka,” it said.  

Boo is also the CEO of PTS Properties Sdn Bhd.

Yong Tai said the whole Impression City project was expected to have RM5.4bil gross development value spanning over 10 year to be developed on 117 acres of land. 

The company also announced the appointments of  Datuk Sri Lee Ee Hoe as executive director and Zoe Tan Eng Eng as the chief operating officer.

Lee brings with him 28 years of experience in the tourism industry while Tan will spearhead the sales and marketing activities for the “Impression Melaka” project.  

Currently, Tan is the executive vice president of PTS Properties.
