MARC affirms TNB issuer rating

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian Rating Corp Bhd (MARC) has affirmed Tenaga Nasional Bhd’s (TNB) issuer rating of AAA and Islamic debt rating of AAAID on its outstanding RM2bil Al-Bai’ Bithaman Ajil bonds.

The ratings agency said the rating outlook for the power giant was “stable”.
