Unimech upbeat on Indonesia ops

Rapid growth: Lim says Unimech expects market to pick up in the second half.

GEORGE TOWN: Unimech Group Bhd expects its valve-supply chain business in Indonesia to boost the group’s growth in the second half of this year, riding on the stability of palm oil production in Indonesia.

Group chief executive officer Datuk Lim Cheah Chooi told StarBiz that the contribution from Indonesia should be around 30% this year, compared with 25% a year ago, as the group worked on increasing its market share in the country.
