Managing director/CEO Mohd Ibrahimnuddin Mohd Yunus said it had placed, among others, the most optimal inventories and cost management, as well as, the best supply and distribution strategy.
"We feel that with the right strategy (in place) the company will perform well and the right product in the market will make consumers happy," he told reporters after the launch of the "Kad Mesra Angkasa" loyalty card here on Friday.
Mohd Ibrahimnuddin said Petronas Dagangan would maintain its capital expenditure at RM400mil for the year and planned to open between seven and 10 new petrol stations this year.Kad Mesra Angkasa is a collaboration between PDB and Angkatan Koperasi Kebangsaan Malaysia Bhd (Angkasa) which provides a platform for cooperatives under the umbrella organisation to promote their business among card holders.
Angkasa president Datuk Abdul Fattah Abdullah said they targeted to issue at least two million cards this year.
"We are not only targeting the eight million cooperative members but also their families who are not members," he added. - Bernama
