Pestech wins double tracking facility contract

PETALING JAYA: Engineering firm Pestech International Bhd was awarded a RM318mil contract for the upgrading of the Klang Valley Double Track infrastructure facility.

The contract was awarded by Dhaya Maju Infrastructure (Asia) Sdn Bhd, which is the turn key contractor for the project.

The contract entails the design, construction, completion, testing, commissioning and maintenance of the system works.

The project will also involve, among others, the upgrading of signalling, communication system together with the upgrading and maintenance of the electrification system and power supply system at the Klang Valley Double Track area.

“Execution rights of the contract will be accorded to Pestech Technology Sdn Bhd, specialising in the rail electrification business segment.

“Pestech Technology will work along its railway signalling technical contractor, Ansaldo STS Malaysia Sdn Bhd, which has a competent engineering team with the required aptitude to execute the contract,” said Pestech in a statement on Bursa Malaysia.
