PETALING JAYA: Arun Bhatia, who sparked concerns over the control and shareholding of AirAsia India recently, has finally inked a deal to get out of the venture, while one of India’s biggest conglomerates, Tata Sons, is raising its stake in the airline.
Tata Sons will raise its stake in the airline to 49%, matching AirAsia Bhd’s equity. This gives both parties equal control of the airline.
