PETALING JAYA: Low-cost airline AirAsia Bhd has entered into an aircraft wet lease agreement with its long-haul sister company AirAsia X Bhd (AAX) to mitigate operational constraints during peak travel season for US$4.93mil (RM20.35mil).
As part of the agreement, AirAsia will engage AAX’s services to wet lease one A330 aircraft to operate the Kuala Lumpur–Kota Kinabalu route from March 17, 2016 till June 12, 2016.
