KUALA LUMPUR: Key Alliance Group Bhd (KAG), whose trading volume surged to 85.975 million shares on Thursday, has received an unusual market activity query from Bursa Malaysia Securities on the sudden jump.
The counter closed at 7 sen at 5pm, up half a sen. Its share price has gained 75% from a month earlier.
The loss-making technology solutions provider’s last announcement to Bursa Malaysia, on Feb 29, was on mobile applications, e-commerce and financial technology incubator Fatfish Medialab Pte Ltd, in which it owns an effective interest of 33%.
Fatfish staged a seed capital exit for an incubatee, Kensington Ventures Pte Ltd, which was sold to iCandy Interactive Ltd via share swap deal.
KAG’s (formerly DVM Technology Bhd) continued to incur a loss attributable to equity holders of RM8.52mil for the financial year ended Dec 31, 2015, compared with a loss of RM4.59mil in the preceding year.
