SIPITANG: The Sabah Ammonia and Urea (Samur) project, which started construction in 2012, is expected to be completed and commence operations in the middle of this year.
In a statement, Petronas Chemicals Group Bhd (PCG) chief executive officer Datuk Sazali Hamzah (pic) said the project, which was now 90% completed, would provide an additional production capacity of 1.2 million tonnes of granulated urea per annum.
