MIFF 2016 to launch Alibaba B2B membership programme

KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian International Furniture Fair (MIFF) 2016, which opens today, will see the launch of the Trade Assurance Programme, a specialty membership by Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba B2B for suppliers outside of China.

UBM Asia managing director (Asean Business) M. Gandhi said this was the first time UBM partnered with Alibaba B2B to bring the pilot programme, aimed at building trust between buyers and sellers on cross-border trading, which MIFF participants can leverage from.
