Negotiations on Eagle High deal to involve Felda

IN an interview with StarBizWeek, Felda Global Ventures Holdings Bhd (FGV) chief executive officer Datuk Mohd Emir Mavani Abdullah Emir confirms that negotiations on the proposed acquisition of Indonesia’s PT Eagle High Plantations Tbk is set to be concluded in March with the involvement of the Federal Land Development Authority (Felda).

The new deal is said to be spearheaded by Tan Sri Mohd Isa Abdul Samad, who is the chairman of both Felda and FGV. Isa was previously quoted as saying that the terms of the deal would be finalised by next month.
