KUCHING: OM Materials (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd-owned ferrosilicon alloy smelting plant in Samalaju Industrial Park, Bintulu has continued to ramp up its production as more new smelting facilities are commissioned.
Physical construction of the production facilities under phase 1 is now fully completed. Phase 1 comprises eight main workshops equipped with 16 units of 25.5 MVA furnaces with a design production capacity of 308,000 tonnes of ferrosilicon alloys per annum.
