Global ad spend projected to grow 4.5%


GLOBAL advertising spending is projected to grow 4.5% in 2016, with China the main contributor to growth, followed by the United States and the United Kingdom, according to the latest forecast by GroupM.

The latest “This Year Next Year” report by GroupM, the parent company for WPP’s media agencies, forecasts net global ad growth of US$22bil in 2016, of which digital will comprise 90%.
