PETALING JAYA: Tenaga Nasional Bhd’s net profit dimmed by almost 16% to RM1.98bil in its first quarter ended Nov 30, 2015 year-on-year mainly due to foreign exchange (forex) losses and lower revenue due to imbalance cost pass-through (ICPT).
TNB said that the year-on-year comparison was not “balanced” as the ICPT had yet to implemented last year and it provided an adjusted set of numbers to shed some light on its performance.
