KUALA LUMUR: JF Apex Research expects Cycle & Carriage , Landmarks, EA Technique and Ahmad Zaki to be among the stocks which could see trading action on Monday.
Cycle & Carriage sold 10,845 Mercedes- Benz passenger vehicles in 2015, which is 56% higher on-year and would maintain the strong sales momentum in 2016.
Landmarks called off plans with US-based Canyon Ranch to build the Canyon Ranch Bintan resort within Landmarks' Treasure Bay development in Bintan, Indonesia.
EA Technique bagged four contracts valued at RM26.59mil.
Ahmad Zaki targets to replenish its construction order book by RM800mil to RM1bil this year, including the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) line 2.
JF Apex Research said US markets extended their slump last Friday due to negative sentiment on China's stock market and global economic slowdown. Similarly, European equities declined sharply on lower oil prices and China's huge selldown last week.
At Bursa Malaysia, the FBM KLCI gained 2.48 points to 1,657.61.
Following the recent uncertainty, the local bourse has been more resilient than other regional markets.
“As such, the KLCI is expected to trend sideways between 1,645 and 1,670,” said the research house.
