PETALING JAYA: It was a record year for mergers and acquisitions (M&As) globally, but corporate activity in Malaysia eased significantly in 2015 with the outlook for next year not any better unless shelved deals are revived.
Bankers and consultants are optimistic that the initial public offering (IPO) market will pick up, while public spending will spur the issuance of bonds.
