Bina Darulaman wins housing project


KUALA LUMPUR: Construction and property firm Bina Darulaman Bhd has secured a contract worth RM106mil from the Urban Wellbeing, Housing and Local Government Ministry to build 630 units of single-storey terrace house. 

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Bina Darulaman said its wholly owned subsidiary, BDB Synergy Sdn Bhd has accepted a letter of acceptance of tender from the Government for the purpose of design, construct and completion of 630 units of houses for the PPR Project for a period of 36 months in Kubang Pasu, Kedah.  

Bina Darulaman said the total contract amount for the project including GST was RM106mil. BDB Synergy shall provide a performance bond amounting to RM5.3mil to the ministry. 

“The project is expected to contribute positively to the group’s earnings for the financial years ending 2016 until 2018,” it said.
