Bina Darulaman to open new asphalt plant and quarry in Kulim


KUALA LUMPUR: Bina Darulaman Bhd’s wholly-owned unit, BDB Infra Sdn Bhd, will open a new asphalt plant and quarry facility in Kulim, Kedah.

In a statement on Friday, the engineering and construction firm said BDB Infra had received an Islamic financing facility of RM40.4mil from OCBC Al-Amin Bank Bhd.

“RM15.4mil will be used for the new quarry operations at Sungai Ular, Kulim, while the balance of RM25mil is for general quarry operations and road construction.

“The acceptance of the Islamic financing facility is in the normal course of the group’s business and reflects the confidence of financial institutions in BDB Infra’s strong financial position and future strategic direction,” it added. - Bernama

Bina Darulaman shares closed unchanged on Friday at 70 sen.
