GELANG PATAH: Plans are underway to expand Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP)’s total volume container capacity of 10.5mil twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) to 15mil TEUs.

Its chief executive officer Glen Hilton said the expansion would be in line with PTP’s ultimate goal to become one of the world’s leading ports, competing closely against Singapore, ranked second among the best ports worldwide last year.
