Halex cancels plans to buy stake in Cambodia gaming business

PETALING JAYA: Halex Holdings Bhd, an agrochemical and healthcare company, has aborted plans to buy a majority stake in a Cambodian gaming business because it is unable to do due diligence on the target company.

Shares of Halex shot up 6.5 sen yesterday to close at 68 sen - its highest since March this year.
