PERTH: The depreciation of the ringgit does not have much impact on Western Australia’s tourism industry, as the Australian state remains popular with Malaysian tourists.

Tourism Western Australia international marketing manager Tom Upson said that Malaysia was among the top five countries in terms of tourist arrivals to Western Australia.
