Danajamin and Purple Boulevard in Ampang Point financing deal

PETALING JAYA: Danajamin Nasional Bhd has guaranteed RM125mil under a 10-year RM450mil asset-backed sukuk ijarah programme issued by Purple Boulevard Bhd for the acquisition of the Ampang Point Shopping Complex in Kuala Lumpur.

Purple Boulevard, a special-purpose vehicle sponsored by Nadin Holdings Sdn Bhd and Nadin Management Sdn Bhd, is seeking additional capital expenditure to maintain the mall’s relevance against competing ones and to attract prospective tenants amid an uncertain retail environment.
