FRANKFURT: The likelihood of inflation returning to the European Central Bank’s (ECB) desired level has declined and economic risks are rising, Mario Draghi said.
“Signs of a sustained turnaround in core inflation have somewhat weakened,” the ECB president said at a hearing in the European Parliament in Brussels yesterday. “Downside risks stemming from global growth and trade are clearly visible.”
