In line with regional trend, the Malaysian stock market swung between losses and gains over the week, as investors eyed key economic data to gauge global growth prospects. A temporary relief came only in the form of an end-of-quarter window-dressing activity, which spurred buying momentum in the middle of the week and lifted the benchmark FBM Kuala Lumpur Composite Index (FBM KLCI) higher, before the market ended the week in the red again.
