BY the stroke of midnight on Merdeka day, Malaysia Airlines Bhd (MAB) takes over as the country’s new national carrier.
It will be a historic event as the transition is from a legacy-laden to light-weight entity. It will also be a heart wrenching day for those thousands of staff that will have to bid adios as they have not been selected to be part of the new beginning.
