CLIQ purchase of 51% stake in Phystech II meets rules


KUALA LUMPUR: Cliq Energy Bhd said its proposed acquisition of a 51% equity interest in Phystech II from Kazakhstan-based Phystech Firm LLP meets all its investment criteria.

Managing director/chief executive officer Ahmad Ziyad Elias said the company had conducted a stringent economic evaluation and sensitivity analysis on the proposed acquisition amid the depreciating ringgit and oil price volatility.
