YTL Corp expects Paka contract to be extended


PETALING JAYA: YTL Corp Bhd, which reported a 15% drop in net profit to RM298.9mil in the last quarter ended June 30 due to slower property sales and lower contributions from its utility business, expects to win a contract extension for its power plant in Paka, Terengganu.

The existing power purchase agreement (PPA) for the Paka power station will expire on Sept 30.
