KUALA LUMPUR: The ringgit was traded weaker against the US dollar in the early session on Wednesday due to renewed interest for the greenback as declining commodity prices hurt investors confidence further.
A trader said market players were buying back the dollar after their confidence in the US economy was restored following the recent release of better US consumer spending in June, which advanced at its slowest pace in four months.
