Unisem’s higher margins strategy paying off

KUALA LUMPUR: CIMB Equities Research said Unisem’s strategy to focus on higher-margin packages was picking up as seen in the expansion in EBITDA margin.

It said on Friday the margin grew by 0.6% percentage points to 25.2% in 2Q15 versus 24.6% in 1Q15 on the back of improving earnings quality and better operating efficiency following the cost rationalisation exercises.
