PETALING JAYA: Tenaga Nasional Bhd’s (TNB) core net profit for the third quarter ended May 31 is expected to fall by a-fifth compared with a year earlier partly due to tariff rebate and higher system losses, said Maybank IB Research.
Analysts expect the 2.25 sen per kW hour or 5.8% tariff rebate to drag the power player’s earnings for the latest quarter.
