Cautious mood rules


THE surprise move by Fitch Rating to upgrade its rating on Malaysia has inspired a rally on Bursa Malaysia for three consecutive days.

After tumbling 180 points or 9.6% from a year-to-date high of 1,868 on April 27 to a low of 1688 on June 29, the benchmark FBM Kuala Lumpur Composite Index (FBM KLCI) had rebounded 40 points or 2.4% to close at 1727.9 on Wednesday.
