CHINA’S stockmarket, which hit US$10 trillion for the first time, saw about US$1.3 trillion wiped off from mainland Chinese equities the week before last, indicating the size of losses in a margin-fuelled rally.
Within a single week, that amount of losses was more than the value of Australia’s entire stock market, said the Sydney Morning Herald (SMH).
